and ends at 4:30 p.m.. I then go to a hagwon, or after school tutoring building, and study until 7:30 p.m.. I go to sleep by 10 p.m., wake up at 6:30 a.m. and do it all over again.

How do you get to school? Are you allowed to go to school by yourself?:

I ride the bus to school, walk to the hagwon, and then I get picked up by my father at night from the hagwon.

Where do you eat lunch? What is your favorite food?:

I eat lunch at my home class in school. My favorite food is kimbap, a rice and side dish seaweed wrap found at every corner in Korea.

What language do you speak at school? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

I speak both English and Korean at school. In Korean, you say "hello" to strangers or people older than you by saying 안녕하세요 (annyeonghaseyo). To your friends or those younger than you, you can say 안녕 (annyeong).

What are some common kids' names at your school?:

A common last name at my school is 김 (Kim), while a common first name is 지원 (Jiwon).

What subjects do you study in school, and which one is your favorite?:

I study science, math, history and literature. My favorite subject so far has been science.

What is your homework like?:

I have to memorize many facts and write essays in both English and Korean.

What do you like to do after school? Do you have a favorite sport or game?:

I go for tutoring at an after school building called a hagwon and have piano classes twice a week. Sometimes I go to the arcade with my friends.
