What main languages are spoken here?:

Many people spoke English next the tourist shops and restaurants. However, most people only spoke Korean.

What type of money is used here?:

Jeju and Busan use the same currency as the rest of South Korean, the Korean won (KRW).

How much does a bottle of water cost?:

A bottle of water usually costs 1000 KRW, which is the equivalent of 76 U.S. cents.

What was the best meal this week?:

The best meal I had was crab cakes at a restaurant in Udo, a small city off the coast of Jeju that we visited. The appetizer was a dish of fresh peanuts that are grown locally!

What music did I listen to this week?:

I listened to a lot of classical musical on the bus rides across Jeju island and on the plane to Busan.

What activity was the most fun this week?:

The most fun activity was walking over the glass boardwalk along the Busan coast. It was so cool to see the ocean right beneath me! We then went on a hike up the mountain next to the beach and got to see a beautiful sunset over the ocean.

What did I read this week?:

I brought a poetry book with me!

What games or sports did I play this week?:

I played sand volleyball with my friends at the beach.
