I traveled 70 km to get to another municipality in the Amazon, Puerto Nariño. I took a speed boat on the river to get there, and it took about two hours.
The furthest I've travelled was to Medellín, another city in Colombia. The two cities are 1,319 miles apart. To get to other cities outside of the Amazon from Leticia, you must take a plane.
By bike, boat, and tuktuk! We rarely use cars here. I bike almost everywhere.
Puerto Nariño. This is where I got to see pink dolphins! It is a small community with no cars or bikes, and it is very peaceful.
One of my professors from college visited me this weekend, so I got to show him around my city, which was very cool!
