In Madrid, the weather is often sunny, even in the fall! This week, there were clear skies most of the time, and while it’s cooler in the mornings and evenings, the middle of the day can be much warmer. In the mornings and at night, the temperature can drop to around 6°C (43°F), so it feels chilly. By the afternoon, temperatures rise to about 13°C (60°F), which is much more comfortable and sunny. This kind of weather is typical for Madrid—cool mornings, warm afternoons, and sunny skies most days, making it perfect for enjoying outdoor activities!
This week in Madrid, I saw a variety of animals in Retiro Park. While walking around the park, I spotted squirrels darting through the trees and playful birds like sparrows and pigeons hopping on the ground. The pond in Retiro Park is home to many ducks who were swimming around, enjoying the sunny weather. I also saw fish swimming in the pond—mainly small, shiny fish that are easy to spot in the clear water. It's amazing how much wildlife you can find in a big city like Madrid!
