I can’t believe it’s already the end of my study-abroad journey in South Korea! It feels like just yesterday I was jumping with excitement after being accepted to my host university and planning my to-do list for South Korea. Time really does fly! This experience has taught me to enjoy every moment and be grateful for the opportunities life brings. Now I am here, writing my final journal, with just a few days left before heading home.

Of course, I’m excited to go back to my daily routine, see my friends, and spend time with my family. A piece of me, however, will stay here in Seoul with the memories I’ve made and the amazing friends I’ve met. One of those unforgettable friends is Petra, who has been by my side since orientation day. She’s from France, and we connected instantly—it felt like meeting the big sister I never had. We share the same humor, interests, and even lifestyle. She’s also been the photographer behind all the pictures I’ve shared here, capturing beautiful moments as we explored Korea together! Saying goodbye is never easy, but I know this isn’t really goodbye. I’m confident we’ll meet again and explore the world together in the future!

This semester in South Korea has been full of excitement, incredible experiences, and meaningful connections with people from all over the world.
