When I open a book, I feel like I’m traveling to different worlds, meeting interesting characters, and learning new things. I believe this love for books helped inspire my desire to travel in real life and discover everything the world has to offer. I also enjoy listening to music, watching movies, trying new foods, and spending time with my friends!
When I first arrived in South Korea, it felt like I was walking into a dream. I was excited but also a little nervous because everything was new and this was my first time in Asia. I saw the bright city lights, heard people speaking Korean all around me, and smelled delicious food from the street vendors. I couldn’t believe I was actually here! Since then, I’ve tried different kinds of food, visited beautiful palaces, traveled to different cities such as Busan (the second biggest city in Korea) and Gyeongju (a city that holds a lot of historical sites), and even practiced speaking Korean with local people.
I decided to study abroad in South Korea to learn more about the country’s culture and history and to practice my Korean language skills. It’s been such a fun and exciting adventure, and every day I learn something new. Traveling here has taught me to step out of my comfort zone and embrace new experiences. I’m excited to share my experiences with you and hopefully inspire you to explore the world, too! I hope that through my journey, you’ll see how fun and rewarding it can be to learn about other cultures.
