The weather this week was mostly cold, windy and rainy. There were a couple days of sunshine, but they were still cold and windy. Most German falls are like this. Some days, I'm freezing cold on my way to the school but by midday it's a beautiful, crisp fall day.
I met two different street cats on my way to school this week. They were friendly and let me pet them. I think one of them is a house cat that comes out on the street, but I worry that the other is a stray. The tabby cat in my photos is very skinny and hangs around the grocery store begging for food.
I saw a spiderweb encased in morning dew. It looked like something from a picture book and reminded me of the book Charlotte's Web. This made me think a lot about classic childrens books that I could reccomend to some of my students to help them learn English.
