The Invasive Fish

Is this need being met? How?:

Over the last seven years, the state of Illinois has removed around one million pounds of Asian Carp per year. Computer models suggest that about 93% of the carp have been removed from the Illinois River, but they are still multiplying fast. The price of this massive project has cost the state of Illinois over $778 million USD!

What to do with all the fish, you might ask?

Since the fall of 2017, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign has been serving more than 50,000 pounds of Illinois’ Asian Carp in its dining halls for its college students. Do you have any ideas on what to do with all the fish? Or how to help clean the Illinois River?
