Considering that Scotland is known for its cloudy, gray days, this week was much sunnier than I expected. It drizzled a few mornings, but the sun usually came out by the afternoon.
I visited the Highlands this weekend, and since it is out in the countryside, I saw quite a few sheep on the way. In the Highlands, I spotted a "coo", or a Scottish Highland cow, which is a type of adorable, brown, fluffy cow.
The Highlands is beautiful, and it was the location for a few of the Harry Potter films and Skyfall. The wide open space, rolling hills and lakes are the perfect soothing combination.
Since the weather here is known to be unpredictable, I carry an umbrella in my backpack everywhere I go. It's come in handy a few times already!
