The Beauty of Mallorca

Introduction:

Mallorca is one of Spain's Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean. The island is known for its beautiful limestone mountains, Spanish architecture and crystal-clear beaches. My friends and I were grateful to discover these marvelous places over the weekend and capture the beauty of Mallorca.

What does this creature or plant look like?:

The hisbiscus plant is a large flower that takes the shape of a trumpet's horn. It can have five or more petals and come in a range of colors and also multi-hue patterns as well. Some colors I've seen are pink, red, yellow and orange. Some of them are mixed together, for example, the middle can be a reddish color and the petals can be orange.

How did I feel when I saw it?:

It was a bit surprising seeing the hibiscus plant in Mallorca. I only ever saw it at home, and at home it is quite literally everywhere. When I saw it for the first time, it reminded me of home and my mom because she loves hibiscuses. We have them planted everywhere in our front yard.

Where does it live?:

The hisbiscus plant can be found in many tropical regions around the world. The plant can be planted around a warm, tropical environment. The only places I've seen hibiscuses were in Mallorca and in my home state which is the Island of Hawai'i.
