Bike Friendly City

Introduction:

There are many modes of transportation in Valencia. You can ride a bike, take the metro/bus or use the city's very own bike company, which lets people use its bikes whenever and wherever the bike stations are located. It's easy to use! Let's go ahead and get started!

How do people get around?:

The people of Valencia use many modes of transportation to get to where they need to be. They can ride their own bikes and cars, use rental bikes, take the metro or bus, hop on electric scooters, or they can simply just walk to their destination. Valencia has many bike stations with bikes you can use for a limited amount of time with a subscription, which I think this is very helpful. This bicycle sharing system is called Valenbisi. There are many bike stations where you can release and park a bike. The metros and buses are easy to use with the help of Google Map; you just need a metro card, which you can get at the station!

How did I feel when I tried this way of getting around?:

I live in a small town. There are no underground metros or any rental bikes available. Where I live, my mode of transportation is my car. When I had to use the metro for the first time, I got lost! But, with the help of many kind people who directed me to the correct metro station, I was able to arrive at my destination.
