My Trip to Paris!

How is the food prepared?:

Croissants are prepared with few ingredients and are usually made from only flour, butter, water, and salt. Croissants are so flaky and soft because of a baking process called laminating, where the baker folds dough around a block of butter and rolls the dough and butter together over and over again until the two are combined.

Is this food connected to the local environment? How?:

Although croissants are originally from Austria, they have been very popular in France since the 1830s, and every year, Paris holds a competition to determine which café makes the best croissants in the city. Croissants are a staple in French bakeries and a symbol of Paris around the world!
