I listened to some Mexican classical piano and orchestra music by a composer named Oniceto Ortega as well as some French popular music by Pink Martini.
My husband Sam and I went out to dinner with some friends from church, Miriam and Josue (Joshua in English). We ate burgers and had a nice conversation over dinner. We are so glad to have made new friends here!
I read an article by a Mexican musicologist (someone who studies music history and musical styles) named Julio Antonio. The article is called Algunas Consideraciones acerca de la Música Mexicana (Some Considerations about Mexican Music). I think it is strange because the author does not seem to like Mexican music very much. He is very critical!
I didn't play sports, but I did go to the gym and lift weights!
