Eventually, he was named head boy student of the whole Sawau District School because of his hard work and drive to be a great student and role model to the other students. 

What do you eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner?:

"For most breakfasts, we have biscuits with jam and peanut butter. For lunch, we usually have noodles, eggs, fish or vegetables. Dinner is usually the same food we have for lunch, or fish if someone caught fish."

What is your house like?:

"We live in a small house with two bedrooms and a kitchen. The house is made from concrete blocks and has a tin roof."

What chores do you have at home?:

"My chores are to help with the farm, feed the pets, do my school work, and get good grades."

What jobs do your parents have?:

"I live with my aunt and uncle, who work on their farm and fish."

What time does school start, and what time do you go home?:

"School starts at 8:00 a.m. and school ends at 3:00 p.m. We have a lunch break at noon."

How do you get to school? Are you allowed to go to school by yourself?:

"Most students take the boat to school, but I live here in Dakuibeqa and walk to school."

Where do you eat lunch? What is your favorite food?:

"I eat lunch at home. My favorite food is fish in coconut milk."

 

What language do you speak at school? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

"At school, we speak both Fijian and English. To say "hello" in Fijian, you say 'Bula.'"
