Raissa's Daily Life

I am currently earning my master's degree. My mom is a nurse. Even though we all study and/or work, we are very close to each other. We are always eating dinner together and trying our best to stay involved in each other's lives.

How do you get around?:

I mainly use public transportation, which includes the tram, metro, bus and train, to get around Brussels. If I leave Brussels to go to another city, I use the train. I have some friends that drive, so sometimes I will catch a ride with them if we go out together. I don't drive, but I should be taking my driver's exam soon. On weekends, I sometimes use Uber if I can't get a ride with a friend.

What types of clothing do you like to wear?:

I typically wear dark-colored jeans, a tee-shirt, a black jacket and white tennis shoes. I'm not really into dressing up or changing my style too much. I like to be comfortable and relaxed. Since it's getting colder, I like to wear sweaters as well. I don't really wear high heels, especially since the roads in Brussels are full of cobblestones and potholes.

What do you like to do in your free time?:

I like to sleep as much as possible during the week because I usually never have enough time to get a full eight hours per night. I like to also hang out with my friends. I have a few friends that live in other countries like England and France, so sometimes I travel and visit them. I like to be very social, so I like going out to places like restaurants to catch up with friends. When I'm not sleeping, traveling or hanging out with friends, I like to take care of myself by doing my nails or hair or by going shopping.
