Well, this Reach the World journey is winding down, but your journeys are just starting to unfold! Y'all have the world at your feet and so much time to explore it, even if it seems impossible. If you had told me when I was in high school that I would be living alone in a foreign country at 23, I would have probably laughed in your face. At 16, I did not know where my life was going; I had my goals and dreams, but no idea how to achieve them or even where to start. Luckily for me, my parents were/are extremely supportive of my plans and encouraged me to really get out in the world and try things that interested me, which is exactly what I did!

Your life does not end at 18 or graduation, do not let high school be your crowning glory; instead go into college, trade school or the workforce with an open mind and be willing to take on new and scary opportunities! Try a weird class, go outside and explore more, try jobs that interest you (even if they are not what you imagined yourself doing) and travel abroad! You will be amazed at what you learn about yourself, your culture and the world when you leave your comfort zone.

Also, for those of you who think traveling abroad is too expensive or not possible for you, I promise that there is a way!
