Well, friends, our journey together is coming to a close. Thank you so much for joining me on this adventure in Spain. I am very proud of each of you for learning about a country and culture that is different than your own. Now you have interesting, new knowledge about Spain that you can share with your friends and family! What is your favorite thing that you have learned about Spain?
One of the most meaningful things that I have learned during my time in Spain is how to communicate better in Spanish. I have seen a huge improvement in my ability to listen, understand and speak in Spanish. This has allowed me to make new Spanish friends and to live more confidently in Spain. I have also learned the value of getting involved in my community. Some of my favorite memories in Spain have been enjoying a meal or coffee with friends, painting in my art class, speaking Spanish in my language class and volunteering at Hípica Al' Andalus. Being active and involved in your community helps to create valuable opportunities, experiences and friendships!
You are all brave and intelligent students. I hope that no matter where you are that you will always continue to be curious, ask questions, explore and learn. Always remember to be kind to people and to appreciate the world around you. Thank you for reaching the world with me! See you later!
