The boys and young men in my town love to play pick-up soccer and can be found playing in their usual spots around town every evening. Girls and women are doing physical labor chores from sun-up to sun-down and don’t usually have time or energy to engage in organized sports. Sports are also not considered something girls and women are a part of, though they will often watch and cheer on the regional teams when they play.
