What's Daily Life Like in Colombia?

What is your family like?:

When I'm at home in Chinácota, I live with my parents, my grandparents, my older sister and my niece. We certainly have a full household! We are all Catholic, and traditions are very important to us. My family is nice and friendly and enjoys meeting new people. Most of all, we love to spend time with family and sharing with others.

How do you get around?:

When I'm home in Chinácota, I usually walk or take the bus to get around. Here in Medellín, I still prefer to ride the bus or walk, if possible. Even though Medellín has a good subway system, I don't like to take it very much because the subway cars are often overflowing with people!

What types of clothing do you like to wear?:

I really like to wear dresses, but I usually wear jeans and a comfortable shirt when I go to my classes at the university. For formal occasions, I always wear dresses and high heels. In Chinácota, I like to wear comfortable sweaters and sweatpants because the weather tends to be cooler and rainier than in Medellín.

What do you like to do in your free time?:

My favorite hobbies are reading and playing the piano. I also like to watch movies and Japanese anime. I've even begun to learn some Japanese from the anime films I watch! My favorite movie is Pride and Prejudice and my favorite book is A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sara J Maas. In general, I really like the genres of fantasy and romance.
