One of my roommates, a Colombian woman who has lived in Medellín for 20 years now, told me that she has noticed an increase in temperatures in Medellín since she's been here. While she used to have to wear a jacket in the mornings to keep out the chill, she says that a jacket is no longer necessary. This could be one tangible example of the effects of climate change on our daily lives.
