How far did I travel this week?:

This week, I traveled from Varanasi to Jaipur to Udaipur. Jaipur and Udaipur are pretty close to each other, but they are about 560 miles from Varanasi. (Imagine the distance between New York and Indiana...)

I flew from Varanasi to Jaipur, but my friends and I drove from Jaipur to Udaipur. Then, I flew from Udaipur back to Varanasi.

How far have I traveled on this journey so far?:

So far, the fathest I've traveled from Varanasi was all the way to Thailand! I spent ten days in Bangkok with my auntie. She lives there for about half of the year. She lives in the United States for the other half of the year.

How did I get around this week?:

This week, I have taken flights, cars and rickshaws to get around. I'm sure you're familiar with planes and cars! Rickshaws, though, are kind of like cars without doors. Rickshaws are what people use as taxis in India.

What was the most interesting place I visited this week?:

The most interesting place that I visited this week was the Anokhi Museum of Hand Printing. It was a museum in Jaipur where I got to learn all about traditional Rajasthani blockprinting techniques. Blockprinting is an artistic process where a carved block is used to press ink patterns onto fabric.
