It is always neat to see similar animals in a different country!
It is normal to not have central air (AC) or air conditioners in South Africa, so people usually keep their windows open. The house that I stayed in always had the windows open, so one of the coolest and funniest things I remember was when a mongoose snuck into our dining room and could not figure out how to get out! Another cool thing was when a bat accidentally got into one of the other student's rooms and I had to capture it (I love and have studied bats so I knew what to do!). I will put the picture I took of the bat in this Logbook!
