It was sunny and bright for the majority of this week as it is most days during the dry season in Costa Rica. Rather than experiencing the four seasons like in America, Costa Rica has two seasons: a dry and a wet/rainy season. The dry season, which is an equivalent to "summer", typically starts in December and/or January and lasts until April, which is when the rainy season starts.
However, there has been some unexpected days of rain and intense fog. My host mom said we brought the "weather from America" to Costa Rica haha. The fog comes in and completely surrounds you. While my friends and I were kicking around the futbol (or soccer), our clothes and hair was damped. That's something that often happens.
San Ramon is a small town, so there are a lot of buildings near to where I live. However, that doesn't mean the animals here are shy. Besides the dogs and cats on the streets, I've seen armadillos, parrots, leaf ants and howler monkeys! It would not suprise me if I see still more exotic animals here.
