There is a cold front coming in! It's now starting to get chilly in the evenings and stay chilly through the next morning. Now, you might think that a cold front means temperature in the 50's or 60's Fahrenheit, but in Belize, a cold front takes place when the temperature is below 85° F with cloudy skies and a breeze that sends a slight chill across your body. In the mornings when I leave my apartment for work I don't immediately start sweating. It usually rains at night, and while it is never a consistent rainfall, it will rain on and off for most of the night. At midday the sun usually peeks out from behind the clouds, warming everything up and making it super humid. This usually happens when I'm coaching, so practice is a little hot.
In Belmopan, I saw many great kiskadee birds (they have a yellow belly), green parrots, some horses, many dogs and cats, and a couple of lizards. One time, I went to cross the street on my way to school and instead of waiting for a car to pass, I had to wait for a horse!
