The weather this week was beautiful! The sun was shining nearly every day, and the air was warm and dry with nothing more than a gentle breeze. Most days, I didn't need to wear a jacket -- only a light sweater in the evenings. Coming from the chilly and snowy Norwegian winter, I couldn't have been more excited to feel the sun on my face again.
Check out this group of Rose-ringed parakeets! I had no idea that parakeets lived in this part of the world, so I was pleasantly surprised to look up in the middle of the Sevilla town square and see these colorful (and very noisy) birds. In the same place, many horses stood waiting to take people on tours of the city in carriages.
