The weather this past week has been a mix of cloudy and rainy. We got two days of sun, which was really nice. I spent the afternoon after class taking a walk around my dorm. The fall trees are beautiful here; they range from lovely deep reds to vibrant yellows. On the worst day for rain, I stayed indoors; it was really cold and windy, so the perfect weather to stay in bed with some warm tea.
Last weekend, I took a trip to Pfaueninsel (Peacock Island), located in Wannsee in southwest Berlin. There I saw gorgeous white and blue peacocks, butterflies, ducks, cows, sheep, and the biggest bumblebee I've ever seen.
The coolest thing I saw in nature this week was the albino peacocks at Pfaueninsel (Peacock Island). In contrast to the other blue and brown peacocks, their entire body and feathers were completely white. I had never seen peacocks like them before. They moved freely throughout the island, but mostly kept to themselves.
