Some vineyards are on very steep hills, making it amazing to imagine how farmers plant, care for, and harvest all of those grapes. The hillsides get sunlight that helps the grapes grow, and the Rhine River valley has a climate that is well suited for growing grapes. These vineyards are also a part of the beautiful landscape, with rows and vines stretching across the hills and sometimes castles overlooking the river nearby!
