The weather in the U.K. has been absolutely stunning! We are so lucky to have had beautiful weather here despite the fact that Fall is traditionally colder than this year's weather. In Amsterdam, however, the nights were absolutely freezing so we made sure to head inside early!
The animal I saw this week was one I'd rather go without seeing - a mouse! Unfortunately, even with the warmer than usual weather, mice are still flocking indoors to seek shelter from the cold. One mouse got into my friend's flat and ran across my foot when I was walking to the restroom! Hopefully, I don't end up with any mice in my flat, even though it is extremely common in the U.K.!
The coolest thing I saw in nature this week was how quickly it has started to get dark outside. In the U.K., we ended Daylight Savings Time one week earlier than everyone in the U.S. did so we've already been on the new time for a week! Because the U.K.
