The first one I found has a lot of winter vegetables growing in it already like lettuce and arugula. It was quite big and had a whole area devoted to community gardening tools and even a compost! The second one I found was much smaller and is for an apartment complex. It is pretty run down, but some of the boxes had vegetables in them and there was a small compost bin.
There are not a lot of trees in Jerusalem, but the few that are here are starting to lose their leaves. It has been really beautiful lately, but the wind has been crazy! I am looking forward to the potential of snow here in the next couple of months.
