The weather was lovely. It's finally spring and it is beautiful outside. It's really hot in the sun, but it's always windy here so I haven't notice the heat much yet.
The only animals I really saw were cats. There are lots of street cats in Morocco that are taken care of by people in the neighborhood. There are three cats who live in my building: Brown, Browna, and Blanca. They live outside, in the garden on the roof.
The coolest thing I saw in nature this week was definitely the Rif Mountains. I see them everyday and they are my favorite thing about Tetouan. They tower over the buildings and you can see them no matter where you are in the city. The Rif mountains extend across the northern region of Morocco. When I went to Chefchaouen with my sister, we were still in the Rif.
