I think the coolest thing I saw in nature this week was when my friends and I were sitting outside eating cookies. About five minutes into our little picnic, I start seeing a trail of ants form a perfect line to carry the crumbs to their home. It is amazing that they are so small and yet so intelligent and hardworking. It was cool seeing them pass small and large crumbs of my cookies back and forth. One of them crawled onto my leg and I pushed it off. When it fell, so did the crumb, but it picked it right back up and kept moving.
This week the weather has fluctuated (or changed) a lot, but the temperatures have remained pretty much the same. Some days I am unsure if I should be wearing my rain boots or my sandals. It is all very confusing. I am actually kind of looking forward to winter, when at least I will know that all I need is a coat!
