This week was the rainiest week since I arrived in Dublin. It was cold and cloudy, with rain turning on and off throughout the day. Although the city is wet and dreary, most days do have a few minutes of sunshine, which makes up for the unpleasant weather.
I saw many deer on my run through Phoenix Park, the biggest park in Dublin. Phoenix Park is famous for the friendly deer that roam through its large fields and forests. I also saw lots of seagulls and pigeons that fly around the city.
A few deer came up to say "hi" to people walking along a sidewalk Phoenix Park. The deer seemed hungry, and a few people fed them leaves. These deer have lived in Phoenix Park since the seventeenth century, and more are born every year. Luckily, Dubliners today aren't allowed to hunt them like they used to!
