This week I walked an average of 4.8 miles. I live over one mile from Trinity College, which makes for a rather long trek to class.
Back on September 1, I flew over to Dublin from my hometown of Boston. My journey across the Atlantic Ocean was around 2,990 miles. I took a redeye flight, which meant I took off at nine in the evening and landed at 7 in the morning. But since Ireland is on a time zone that is five hours ahead of Boston, my flight was only about five hours long. (Can you figure out the math?)
While living in Dublin, I've also taken a few amazing trips to different cities around Europe. Flights in Europe are relatively cheap, so I've used some of my savings to go to Bristol (England), Athens (Greece), Amsterdam (Netherlands), and Budapest (Hungary). I've also taken trains to visit cities in Ireland, including Sligo and Cork. I feel so lucky to be able to see this many cool places, in such a short time!
