






I also love to cook and invite people over for dinner. I cook what my mother cooked for me, fried tacos, bean soup, spaghetti Bolognese, flan and lasagna. These foods fill my room with the smells of my home and in a way recreate the feeling of home abroad. I also tell myself that it’s the same sky I’m looking at, with the same stars and the same clouds.
I believe that the people in France and everywhere else around the world share some of the same dreams, interests and hobbies. It is important to talk to people when you travel to find a group of people that like what you do, but also that expose you to new ideas and activities for you to grow. Home is not anchored to a physical location, it’s an attitude you take towards a place. It is possible to create a home in an unfamiliar place.
