Germany uses the euro.
Most people in Germany purchase large packages of 1.5 litre bottles of water. A six-pack of these bottles costs only 19 cents! If you're out at a restaurant, though, a one-litre bottle of water can cost 2.50 euros.
The best meal this week was a delicious vegetarian dish that my friend Russell cooked! It had roasted vegetables like zucchini and tomatoes and we ate it on top of bulgur, which is a type of grain like rice.
I also had a piece of cake that had vanilla cake on the bottom, wine-soaked cherries in the middle and whipped cream and cocoa powder on top. Sehr lecker! Very tasty!
This week I listened to some swing jazz from the 1940s. I love big band swing by artists like Glenn Miller and Tommy Dorsey.
The most fun activity this week was taking photos! My parents both love photography and I learned how to take pictures for them. I often photograph my meals, scenery and my friends and I having a good time. I don't write a lot in my free time, so for me taking photos is like keeping a diary.
