It was hot this week! Summer has already made its way to India, and I was definitely sweaty.
I didn't see any new animals this week, just the typical stray dogs.
I saw some beautiful pink hibiscus flowers. Usually hibiscus flowers are a red color, but these were pink and so pretty and delicate.
The only Nature News this week is how hot it already is! Peak summer takes place during April and May, so you can imagine how hot it is going to get!
I also saw something called thati bellam (palm jaggery). Regular bellam (jaggery) is very similar to sugar. It's browner, and it comes from sugarcane using a different process than the manufacturing of sugar. Thati bellam is more like maple syrup, but solid! It's delicious.
