This week, I traveled from Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh to Hyderabad, Telangana. It is about 150 miles.
Since I've been in India for about three months now, I've traveled quite a bit. I'll share my trip to North India with you next week!
This week, I rode in a horse carriage for a short distance! This is called a rickshaw.
I really enjoyed visiting the maggam (loom) where they make sarees. Each round makes about 4 sarees (24 yards of material), which are then sold in the weavers' homes.
I am back in Vijayawada next week, which is a very small town, so I'll share my trip the Delhi, Jaipur, and Agra with you next week. Those cities are in North India and have a lot of history!
