Getting to Know Francesca

Introduction:

During my study abroad program, I was very lucky to be placed in a homestay. I was given so much love, kindness and care. My host mom has two kids; one boy who’s 13 years old and one girl who’s 18 years old, named Francesca. I learned so much about her these past 3 1/2 months, we’re basically sisters!

Where do you live? What is your house like?:

Francesca lives in a house in Valencia, Spain.

What is your family like?:

Francesa lives with her mom and her 13 year old brother. Her family spends their time outside on walks, at fútbol (soccer) games and hanging out with family. They’re generous, caring and adventurous!

How do you get around?:

There are many modes of transportation in Valencia. Francesca takes either the metro or the bus to get to her destinations.

What types of clothing do you like to wear?:

Francesca usually wears the Spanish style Cayetana, which consists of wearing basic clothing for teenagers/adults, but she can also be found in different styles.
