Conversation with Professor Rafa Vega

Introduction:

While living in Spain I have been lucky enough to meet tons of new people and learn something different from each of them. Professor Vega is one person I have learned a lot from! He teaches my Spain and European Intergration class and has taught me countless things about the European Union in the context of Spain and the United States. I decided to interview him because he is well known in Seville from when he used to be a broadcast sports journalist on their local news. Also because he admires New York City and visits often, so I knew he would be the perfect person to talk to.

What is your full name?:

My full name is Rafa Vega.

Where do you live? What is your house like?:

I live in Sevilla. I'm from Granada, but I've lived in Sevilla for almost 30 years. I live in an apartment in the city centre. [I live in] a small apartment because in the city centre buildings are old and not very big houses. But it has a rooftop and I love it because from the rooftop I can see the city, and I can relax.

What is your family like?:

Well, my parents live in Granada. I left it when I was 18 years old. And I have a brother.
