While this journey has come to a close, I hope it has inspired you and encouraged you to expand the horizons of your own studying and exploring, as it did for me just a few months ago.
Portugal was one of the first European nations to explore the vast oceans over 500 years ago. Today, Portugal is maintaining its maritime identity by helping to conserve our oceans and ecosystems.
Whenever a person travels, they get to meet new people and experience new things! It is all super fun and the best part about it is seeing how different people see things. This is called perspective!

We all have a comfort zone, but it is worthwhile to step outside of it whenever you can. My time in Singapore came to a close, and my memories resulted from having expanded my own comfort zone.
My time in China was cut short by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, but I will always cherish all the memories and friends that I made during my time there.
