For this week, I thought it would be helpful to interview an aisteoir (actor) about his daily life, what is important to him, and a bit about his career.
Many major cities in Ireland have highly renowned theater spaces and theater companies. The Everyman is a very well-known theater in Cork City, for instance, with gorgeous Victorian Architecture. So much talent graces that stage.
Most universities in Ireland have theater clubs, or societies, and theater is even a required subject on the exam students need to graduate secondary school (what we call high school). Shakespeare is especially important. Mr. O'Conor himself took part in theater in college, which is where he decided it was where his heart lies.
