In my opinion, it has been very cold this week. It is usually 70-75 degrees in the middle of the day, but in the mornings and at night, temperatures drops into the 50s or 60s. This is incredibly different from Florida at this time of year, which is, in general, a good ten degrees hotter! It is also cloudy most days here in Asturias, so even when it is 75 degrees, it feels a little colder because the sun is not out. Although we only had one day when it rained all day, there have been lots of little rainstorms. The frequent rain keeps the province looking beautiful and green!
I saw lots of cows, horses and sheep while I was hiking through the mountains this week! Asturias is known for being home to many cows, and for producing delicious milk and cheese because of the dairy industry.
