Riding a camel at the Dead Sea was definitely the highlight of my trip!
I got to read some signs in Jerusalem. I'm getting better at reading Hebrew. My friend that speaks fluent Hebrew helps correct me when I'm wrong.
This week I floated in the salty waters of the Dead Sea. I also hiked Masada, which was probably the hardest hike I have ever done! It was a one hour hike of steep steps! It was definitely worth it, though.
When I was on my way back to Haifa, I received an alert that there was a vehicle explosion in Nesher, a part of Haifa. The cause of the explosion was unclear, but shootings and small bombings linked to organized crime are relatively common in Israel. Unfortunately, it seriously injured at least one person.
