Although there is a BIG library in Helsinki with robots that deliver books and 3D printers and iPads you can rent. However, I instead went to the smaller National Library with many classic books. In the National Library, they have books in many different languages, so the librarian helped me find a book in English.
To get to know my schoolmates more and feel more at "home" in Finland, my roommates and I had a game night this week. Many of them had never heard of Jeopardy, so we watched an episode on TV. Then, we played a game called "werewolf." Have you ever heard of this game? It is was originally a psychological analysis game, but we just play it for fun. We also had lots of delicious Finnish treats and ice cream, perhaps the favorite treat of all in Finland.
I got my first piece of mail this week! I was surprised that Amazon.com can deliver to Finland, as sometimes it is difficult to get mail in from outside of the country. My family used Germany "Amazon.de" to send me some warm clothes to Finland, and it has been so long since I have seen an Amazon.com package that I may hang it on my wall because it reminds me of home!
