After dark, people start setting off bigger fireworks, and it climaxes at midnight when the whole country seems to be lit up with fireworks. It's a magical hour of colorful light bursting through the air and ending with the BOOM, BOOM, BOOM. The ground is littered with firework remains over the next several days.
