My most fun experience this week was walking on the Xi'an City Wall. It was one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen, and it reminded me of the more famous Great Wall of China, which I visited back in beginning of the semester.
This week I read The Dragon on the Land of Snows: A History of Modern Tibet Since 1947. Tibet is a nation with its own cultural charaterisitics that wishes to be recognized independently but which China claims as a territory.
This week I played Dou Di Zhu which is a Chinese card game, alternatively called Landlord.
