One of my EDM favorite groups is French--an electronic dance duo called Justice!
My favorite activity from this past week was Halloween. I spent time with friends who attend the American University in Paris. My friends wore fun costumes, and we all got to hang out. This was special because Halloween is not a widely celebrated holiday in France, but my American friends and I were still able to celebrate.
Beyond the reading I have to complete for class I started a new book this week called Apeirogon that tells a parallel story of two dads in Israel and Palestine. It is super interesting so far and helps me spend time reading for fun instead of just playing on my phone when I am not doing homework.
This week I played card games with friends at a Wednesday night social gathering held at Cité Université. This event let me meet students from France and around the world. We played Gin Rummy which is a card game I played a lot growing up in Texas.
