This weekend when I was in Granada on a trip with my program, we spent the night going to different restaurants to check out the famous tapas Spain is so famous for. Granada is known for the resturants that serve free tapas when you order a drink; so, instead of eating a meal for dinner, my friends and I tried a different small dish (tapas) to share at each restaurant. Some of these tapas were really yummy, like the tortillla we had, while others were not my favorite and were basically just cold meat. It was super cool to participate in this tradition!
While in Seville, I have tried to exclusively listen to Spanish music. Some of my favorite artists include El Buen Hijo (The Good Son), Mon Laferte, and Samuraï. I love Spanish music, and I recommend looking into different artists to improve your language comprehension in a fun way!
Definitely visiting Granada and the famous Alhambra! It was such an amazing experience and basically all my professors said it's their favorite place in Andalusia (the southern region of Spain that Seville is also located in). The Alhambra is so beautiful and has so much rich history connected to the Muslim rule and, after 1492, the Catholic monarchy.
