Their style is more alternative, and my favorite song by them is called Sarılırım Birine, translating to "I Hug Someone." What activity was the most fun this week?:

On Tuesday, I tried out a new cafe that opened in Ordu, and it's owned by an American family that live here! I haven't really met that many Americans in Türkiye, especially in Ordu, so it was exciting for me to speak with people from home. They serve my favorite drink, matcha, which can be hard to find here!

What did I read this week?:

Since I did not have to go to work this week, I had time to finish three books! I love reading, so it was nice to have time to finish several books that have been sitting on my desk. The books were Conversations with Friends by Sally Rooney, Persuasion by Jane Austen and Talking with Strangers by Malcolm Gladwell.

What games or sports did I play this week?:

My roommate and I began taking tennis lessons, so I practiced with my tennis coach this week. When it wasn't raining, I also took long walks along the seaside with my friends. On Tuesday, I attended a yoga class!

Other news from this week:

I learned how to play Okey (pronounced like okay), a popular game played with numbered tiles. It was really complicated, but after a few rounds, I picked up on some of the rules. I learned after posting about it that this game is found in many other countries, such as El Salvador!
