Senere talks about how men are told to be strong, even when they feel sad and broken inside, but still they have to work and provide for their families and children.
I had the most fun recording a video about the libray and technology lab we are working on at my school. We are trying to raise money to give our books a home. I recorded the students in class using a tablet and reading books.
I read about an American activist named Rosa Parks and her refusal to give up her seat on a bus in Montgomery, Alabama in 1955. She led a 381 day boycott which resulted in a new law making segregation illegal on buses operating in Alabama.
I play games on my tablet like Hungry Shark and Toca Boca World.
I met two really sweet ladies on my walk to the store. They stopped to talk to me about how I am enjoying their country and my life in the village. Then, we took a photo together, and one of the ladies even let me wear her traditional blanket (kobo) around my shoulders. I love that Basotho people enjoy greeting their neighbors. We say hello every day to our neighbors because it shows that we love them and care about them.
